The Falcon Sound program is an organization of dedicated Students, Parents, Staff, and Directors who strive to achieve the highest level of artistry through performance. This extraordinary group of young performers comes from Flanagan High School's Marching Band, Color Guard, Wind Orchestra, Symphonic Winds, Concert Jazz Band, World Guard, "A" Guard, "JV" Guard, Percussion Class, and String Orchestra. These individual groups combine to form a "Family" known as the "The Falcon Sound"!

While our students and directors bring the talent and expertise, there is a great deal of volunteer time and financial resources needed as well. Our Falcon Sound Alliance Parent Boosters (FSA) 501(c) exists to facilitate and support finding these resources. Together, our efforts will ensure that music continues to be the catalyst for our student’s growth and development, as well as fostering generations of young musicians in the future.

Our students are proud to represent our South Florida community. Band and guard members share a common spirit of pride, enthusiasm and devotion to one another and to the community around them. They consistently show high academic achievement while maintaining a rigorous daily practice schedule and weekly competitions. In addition to the highest-quality rigorous musical instruction, they are continually growing in leadership, competition, teamwork, confidence and friendship.

While the school board pays and provides music classes during the school day, the Marching Band and Color Guard expenses are not included. Our students pay a fee to participate as well as work diligently on fundraising throughout the year. Your individual or business contribution will give us the ability to offset the cost to our students and help provide transportation to competitions, uniforms for this and future seasons, instruments and repairs, as well as support providing healthy meals and snacks for our competitions and show days.

The Falcon Sound has many events throughout the South Florida region every year that will bring opportunities for your individual participation, as well as business advertising.
